Jessica brings warmth, openness, and experience to her counseling and art therapy services.

Jessica uses a positive, whole-person approach to help her clients live well and thrive.  While her work is rooted in human development, psychology, neurobiology, and contemporary research, she is known for her sensitive, down-to-earth approach and her ability to create a comfortable, safe environment where clients can explore and grow.  

Jessica is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Registered Art Therapist (AT-R).  She holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical Art Therapy.  Jessica has over 20 years experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including the Health Services Division of the Community Action Partnership, Transitions - Mental Health Association, Contra Costa County Health Department, the Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center, San Luis Coastal School District, Cuesta College, the Northern San Luis Obispo County children's medical therapy units, and a collaborative adolescent health program with the California Family Health Council and UCSF’s Institute for Health Policy Studies.  In addition to her private practice counseling and art therapy work, Jessica is the owner and clinical director for Coast Therapy Associates, Inc..

With her background in nonprofits, Jessica is committed to supporting access to quality, compassionate, professional mental health services for those in need. In addition to the thousands of visits they provide annually, Coast Therapy Associates, Inc. partners with CenCal Health to provide more than 1500 mental health therapy sessions at no cost to clients in our community each year.

In all aspects of her life, Jessica enjoys connection, creativity, and savoring the sweetness of life on the Central Coast.
